Approx Dates of Stay: 7/20 - 7/29/02. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? The snack bar has very good food, the security (park rangers) are always around and making you feel safe and secure. My son was upset on day because the petting zoo was not unlocked. He went and told Ranger Jim and he apologized and opened it immediately. I was very happy with the way the campground was always clean. Even the bathrooms were always very very spotless. Especially when it was pretty crowded on one of the weekends we were there. Owners and Staff: The staff at Jellystone were very helpful and friendly. There was always someone around to help or answer any questions you might have. The lady who runs the snack bar was very nice. She went out of her way to help with special little thing I needed for my 11 month old (like heating his baby food in her kitchen) Little things that other places wouldn't want to bother with. Camp landscaping and surroundings: The landscape and surroundings were very impressive. I loved all the flowers.
Overall Site Quality: very good. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, somewhat small, close to the road, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. My overall stay was very nice. My sons can't wait to go back... By the way the fishing is pretty good - my husband caught a great big fish (don't ask me what kind) but he was very excited. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers.
