Approx Dates of Stay: July 9 - 16, 2004. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? Clean grounds. Litter Free!! Restrooms cleaned often. Entertainment!! Friendly Staff!! Owners and Staff: I go to Jellystone at least one week each year. I have only been once so far this year. I always have a great time. My kids are always busy. I have never had the problems that other posts have described. I have been to quite a few campgrounds and have narrowed it to this one. It is the one that offers the most for your dollar. I take advantage of their 7 day specials. Great place to take your family. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Public areas are landscaped with flowers. I was speaking to one of the staff that was watering flowers. There is a strip of 4800 impatients in the entrance. Roads are gravel along with most sites. It's hard to grow grass in the woods. We always camp on the lake.

Overall Site Quality: very good. Good/Bad site #'s: Bad sites would be the full hookup sites. Good sites are wooded or lake. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, somewhat small, close to the road, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, The Seasonals have been going down. There are not as many as before.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Could use more restrooms. It's nice to have frees showers.

Activities and Amenities: pool, lake, swimming, fishing, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. The have 2 pools. They are kept very well, but I prefer the Aqua Center. I buy my $14.00 pass for the week. It's not as crowded and the kids love the slide. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, Sturbridge has come a long way as far as retail in the past few years. Now Old Sturbridge Village has a Movie Theatre. Last comments: It's a great place to take your family.
