Approx Dates of Stay: August 8 &9. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? Very nice owners and workers at campground. BUT this was not the first time we stayed there with our family and every time we've stayed there we've had problems at night with noise. On this visit we had a bunch of college guys party until 3am and swearing every other word. We had mentioned this to the owner whom were very good about it and spoke with them but they still didn't reinforce them to get to bed at a reasonable time and not be a bother to other campers. This spoiled our family trip and made us leave one day sooner than planned. We don't plan on visiting this campground again because of no quiet time being reinforced. Owners and Staff: Extremely nice. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Campsite and grounds were pretty good and clean.
Overall Site Quality: very good. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, close to the road, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: friendly campers. Most campers were friendly but don't go unless noise doesn't bother you at night.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Went last year and toilets were not flushing most of the time but this year they were working fine. Activities and Amenities: pool, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, video games, playground, camp store, pets allowed, security gate. Pool was nice but was small and could get crowded. Nice lake for fishing and boating. Had a security gate but the number was given out to the college guys' friends and they came in at night and stayed for free. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails.
