Overall Campground Rating: very good.
What stood out? Well I was nervous driving 3 hours to a campground in New Hampshire But it all turned out well the pool was beautiful and the sites were Huge! and those waterfront sites were beautiful
Owners and Staff: Very nice and friendly as I waited for my girlfriend to get ready for the day the owner was cleaning the bathroom which he said hi to everyone that walked in very nice also jane the women was the same she made you feel like you were welcome and they wanted you there
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Awesome from the river to the size of the sites were great the only problem i did see of the sites were some of them because of the rain had water around them also it could be because of the amount of rain we had in july of 06
Overall Site Quality: very good
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water; I would love cable but hey your camping! Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. Goto The lake and let it glide you down I saw 10-100 people on 1 day going it was very fun to watch them also I will do this next time
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: They have the main bathroom and showers and some portojohns locally. I wish there were another bathroom but i dont know if the size of the place needs it
Activities and Amenities
pool, lake, swimming, fishing, video games, pool table, live entertainment, tv or movies, camp store, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room. Ok the pool was awesome and the river can keep you busy but I wish they had more planned activities as in sports and crafts there were none that I saw but what do you expect for 20 something dollars a night with clean restrooms and a cozy setting you cant get it all
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, amusements, nature trails. FUNSPOT!!!!!!!!!!! the best arcade in america it was one of my best times enjoying games from the 80's and current i never smiled so much if your a game fanatic do your research on this gem of a place that are rapidly disapearing I really have a soft spot for the time and memories of the games they had it will bring you back to the time with your best friend and those are things that will never leave you
Last comments: Very CLEAN NICE POOL NOT MANY ACTIVITIES KAROAKE every other weekend- couple of weekends needs more activities but there IS SO MUCH TO DO AROUND THE AREA Nice people Nice campsites I rate the place an 8.5 B + and on karoake nights an 8.9 weekdays 8.0
