Overall Campground Rating: horrible.
What stood out? The sites and location to the beach were nice. The management ruined the stay.
Owners and Staff: The management were rude, mean and 'in our face'. We had trouble with our car and arrived a day late. We had called and let them know we were not going to be there until the next morning. The person who answered the phone seemed fine with that. When we showed up, 2 men and a woman were waiting and refused to let us enter to our site because it was 11 am and check in was 12pm. We had prepaid for the site and they refused to let us use it. They would refund our money for the day they refused to let us use the site. They swore and became extreemly rude. It ruined our whole stay. Some friends of ours who arrive 'on time' said they were treated badly when they were dealing with them.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Beautiful setting. Fairly clean.
Overall Site Quality: not good
Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise,
Clean restrooms and showers? . Restrooms and showers need updating? . Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? . Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Bathroom pay showers burning hot. We couldn't put our children in them as they screamed the first time due to the temperature. We adults had a hard time with the heat too. We had to wash our kids in our trailer.
What is nearby? ocean or lake, You can walk to the ocean.
Last comments: I wouldn't recommend this place unless they change management.

We made reservations in March 2008 and called the management to cancel as we were not going to make it without difficulty. I was told I could cancel but no refund. I would have to reschedule. This was not in their advt or told to me at time of reservations. So, we went. The store was closed. The bathrooms were ok. The water ran dark brown for 10 minutes at our site. No cable tv. Thwere were 10 sites taken but management put up full sign. Why? We had 5 days reserved but stayed 3 and left. They said no refunds for the 2 remaining as no 32 hrs notice and no rescheduling. Very rude people. We will never stay there again. They kept our $70.00.
