Overall Campground Rating: very good.
Owners and Staff: Owners were very friendly. Made you feel welcome, and they enforced the rules without making you feel unwelcomed.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Large campground with several different size sites. Some really small and others quite large. Some sites are pretty close to a main road. Lake is across a major road, but full access is available.
Overall Site Quality: fair-average
Good/Bad sites: Site we had was too small for our 25 foot trailer. Kind of random on site size, some really large, some really small. They were clean and well maintained. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, somewhat small, close to the road, sandy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, Make sure the site you choose is away from the main road. I was half way back in the campsite and didn't hear the traffic at all, but the sites close to the road were somewhat noisy.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Could use another bath house in the 190 section.
Activities and Amenities
pool, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails.
Last comments: Great campground. I would definitely return for another weekend next year.
