Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? Sites are mostly wooded and private, though varied in size. Stone fire rings. Quite active during the day and late afternoon but quiets nicely in the evening. Very clean. It's one of those campgrounds where campers are really friendly and are not afraid to strike up a conversation. We were there for the NASCAR race in addition to a little R&R... we ended up tailgating at the race with new friends from the site next door. We also noticed that there were alot of tents.
Owners and Staff: They are wicked nice there! The owners and their staff were amazingly accomodating. From the first call to make the reservation, we had to make several changes in our plans. We were met with a helpful "can-do" attitude each time. We were very impressed!
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Mostly rolling hills and rock outcroppings. A good mix of wooded and open, sunny sites.
Overall Site Quality: excellent
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, large and spacious, somewhat small, picnic table, fire ring,
