Approx Dates of Stay: 07/30/04 -08/01/04. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? This was a very nice campground with many sites of all types, wooded or open, full hookup or tent with electric. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Guest visitor rates were very reasonable, $7 for a family of three to visit. Also, there is an option for a late checkout. By paying half of the one night cost you can checkout at 7:00 on Sunday. Owners and Staff: Friendly and helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Many well kept wooded and open sites so you can choose to your liking. We were in site 173 and it was very dark and wooded. Site 174 right next to us on the other hand was quite open and sunny.
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: No bad sites but depending on your preference some are very dark and some very sunny. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, somewhat small, picnic table, fire ring, Some of the sites are close to Rt.104 with highway noise but those are mostly seasonal. Some sites are slightly on the small side, but I had no problem getting into our site with a 19' hybrid. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Showers and bathroms were kept very neat and clean.
Activities and Amenities: pool, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, video games, pool table, live entertainment, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, snack bar, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. What is nearby? restaurants, retail stores, ocean or lake, nature trails. The area is beautiful with lots of things to do. The lake is also beautiful and great for boating and fishing. Last comments: This was a very nice camping experience.
