Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? Smack in the middle of fall foliage in the Applachian Mountains
Owners and Staff: Friendly and courteous
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Mostly open, some shaded sites
Overall Site Quality: very good
Good sites: All pull thrus are fine, non pull thurs good also
Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, 50 amp service Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, BIG RIG friendly
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, Did not notice many seasonals
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:
Activities and Amenities
pool, swimming, video games, pool table, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Resturant on site, carnival type rides and games, organized paint ball games, pool has a slide !
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, amusements, nature trails. Swatara State Park and the fossil beds
Last comments: Had a great time here, close to Cabela's, Hershey Park, and Dorney Park (Halloween weekends)
