Approx Dates of Stay: August 27-29. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? This campground was very nice. Very clean, well landscaped, friendly staff and campers. Lots of room. Owners and Staff: The staff was very friendly. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Landscaping throughout was very nice. Lots of trees, grass, flowers. Well maintained. Some sites are on a hill and inbetween sites are nice grassy hills.
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: We stayed on the hillside and our site was very level. Very spacious and plenty of room and privacy. There are sites further up that are not on a hill and therefore would be better group sites. Some sites back onto the playground and some back onto the pool. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, Sites actually have a gravel bottom with grass around the edges. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Comments on restrooms and showers: Never used them
Activities and Amenities: pool, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, dumping station, security gate. The playground was very nice. Lots of wooden structures designed as a car, boat, truck, etc. There were also a bunch of buckets and shovels as well as a bunch of Tonka trucks to play with. The pool area is very nice. Three pools. The kiddie pool was a bit disappointing as it is 3 ft deep and therefore could not let my 17 month old frolick in the water. But otherwise very nice. They have a nice Mini-Golf course. It is $4.00 for campers and if you get a hole in one you have the chance at a free game. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. Lots of hicking trails that leave right from the campground. Cabot's Creamery is about 20 minutes away and Ben & Jerry's factory is about 45 minutes away. There is a pond and a lake nearby, although, we never did find the lake. Last comments: Well worth a stay at this place. Very reasonable rates and a great relaxing weekend. About 2 1/2 hours from Nashua, NH area. Right off of 91 in vermont.
