Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? Clean, well kept and Most sites are big.
Owners and Staff: The staff I Talked to were freindly, they didn't know much about anything though.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: landscape was imaculate, well kept! The View is great from most sites.
Overall Site Quality: excellent
Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, other WIFI Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area. Site map tells it all, if it looks like a small site, it is! Most have a long driveway.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, Kept to themselfs. I Inquierd on the seasonal thing, and was told that they were full with seasonals. I THINK, they prefer "an older" group rather than a "thirty something" couple w/ kids.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Didn't use them but was told by our overnite guest that they were nice. showers were great.
Activities and Amenities
pool, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, Two really nice pools, Kiddy pool was filled in, dont know why. Movie and aerobics were canceled during the week, my guess is that there were not enough people there during the week, WE WERE THERE. Mini Golf (18 hole) was great! really nice layout.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, nature trails. It's Vermont, Not much around but Nature itself. Thats what we went for, Peace and Quiet!
Last comments: IF we go back to Vermont, we WILL be staying here. It's just what we wanted, to relax and look at the stars.
