Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? Very neat and clean. Sites are very open and some are very close together or right on the road. Very nice buildings - log cabin like - beautiful playground for small children.

Owners and Staff: Friendly and helpful staff.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Well landscaped grounds, lots of beautiful flowers around.

Overall Site Quality: fair-average

Good/Bad sites: Sites on Stella D'Oro Dr. have the most room. Almost all sites are long - not wide. No trees or bush between sites - so very open to neighbors. Bads sites - LT113 to LT127. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, other wireless internet (it was terrible) Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, somewhat small, close to the road, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area. We had site PE327 - very hard to level camper - had to drive on boards to get level. Site was very close to road. All sites had gravel bottoms with grass around.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, Seasonals spaced throughout campground.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.

Activities and Amenities

pool, pond, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Terrific minature golf - a little expensive, but worth it - beautiful views from the course. They have two pools, but we found them very small and very crowded. Nice Rec Hall - not enough planned activities.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores,

Last comments: Our site was just too open and close to others for us. We were right on the road - lots and lots of bike riders and golf carts and scooters (gas and electric) going back and forth constantly. Could only relax in the camper with the air conditioning on. Needless to say - we left a day early. It's a beautiful, well kept, extremely clean campground, however if you want to spend time at your site to relax, have a little quiet time, privacy - this is not the place.
