Mike gave us this review on 10/08/07. Dates of Stay: 10-5-07 to 10-8-07. Will You Return? No. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer - Size of Camping Unit: 21'
Overall Campground Rating: fair-average.
What stood out? We found the campground very commerical like. Main parking lot inside campground not centralized to campground store/rec hall/food court/pool area which made doing things very inconvenient.
Owners and Staff: We found the staff Friendly
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Most of the privately owned park models were well landscaped and maintained. Most of the transit sites that we saw were plain dirt with no grass and very unappealing. Our site was also very dusty with no grass at all.
Overall Site Quality: fair-average
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi Campsite Descriptions: wooded, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring,
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, too many seasonal sites.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember.
Activities and Amenities
pool, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate.

Last comments: We were disipointed in the size of the pet play area. It was to small for our dog to get any real exersize, and you were not allowed walk your dog around the campground.

Wow! A restriction on walking your dog through-out the campground. What would happen if you did?
How was the size of the sites?Posted by NewEnglandCamper (Bob) on 10/10/07So far we visited three resort type campgrounds in CT and all don’t allow you to walk your dog. All are well posted about their pet policy so I’ve never seen anyone walk their dog so far.
Most of the transit sites that we saw were large with room to spare. The park models sites were some what smaller in size.
