Approx Dates of Stay: 8/9/03 thru 8/17/03. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? Extremely well kept, clean, and loaded with top quality facilities Owners and Staff: Friendly and courteous. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Mature trees, lots of plantings, paved roads, quality signage, green cut grass.
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: There are sites here for every individual need. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, handicapp accessible sites. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, close to the road, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area. Lower Loop (east end) our favorite area, but the whole place is well laid out. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: Very few seasonals, the ones there were neat and orderly.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, swimming, fishing, boating, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, camp store, ice cream, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Five pools, most heated, one indoor pool, live entertainment at the campgrounds French Mountain Playhouse was terrific. Shows most night during the summer months. Trolley service thru the campground and available to the outlets, Six Flags, and Lake George Village. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. Everything is nearby. Last comments: The best RV Park we have been too.
