Lisa & Russ gave us this review on 03/19/06. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer

Overall Campground Rating: not good.

What stood out? The sites were crowded, messy and the staff wasn't friendly at all. They also charge different prices for the same services.

Owners and Staff: The staff wasn't friendly and just seemed like they didn't want to be there at all!

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Dirty and crowded. Our site was neater after we left!

Overall Site Quality: not good

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: somewhat small, close to the road, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise,

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered, friendly campers,

Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Doors are always open so they are cold. Bugs, Bugs, Bugs. Thank god we have a shower in our camper because my daughter would never have let me shower her in there!

Activities and Amenities

pool, lake, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, pool table, tv or movies, playground, camp store, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. No swings at playground. The dumping station is on a hill. Upon check in we were told we would not need a card for the security gate unless we were going out at night for a long time. We were given a hard time EVERY time we came back to the campground even during the day. We almost felt like we weren't allowed to leave the campground. They do have movie night down by the lakeside on Friday nights I think and play a relativly new movie. The kids movie house which was right behind our sites was nice.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, ocean or lake,

Last comments: We did camp with another family in seperate rigs and they to were unhappy with the weekend. I wouldn't go back for another try.
