Overall Campground Rating: not good.
What stood out? Good: Very large sites, mostly all pull through. Bad: The entire place is run down. Bathhouse was dirty and had shower curtains instead of doors on the stalls and shower. The floor and fixtures looked like it was made up of left over parts. Not one part of the campground looks like it's been maintained in 20 years.
Owners and Staff: Staff was not pleasant or helpful, except the older gentlemen at the gate, who was very friendly.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Except for some flowers around the bathhouse, landscaping was non-existent. There were a lot of seasonal trailers that looked abandoned and had not had the grass mowed all year.
Overall Site Quality: very good
Good sites: There are a lot of seasonal sites and their maintenance is clearly up to the trailer owner. Therefore, there is a vast difference between their condition. This makes finding a good site more difficult.
Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, large and spacious, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, cluttered, snobby seasonal campers, too many seasonal sites. Many Many seasonal sites that were in rough shape. Tall grass and dirty trailers with lots of junk. There are clearly no restrictions on what you can and cannot have on your site.
Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Very rough.
