Approx Dates of Stay: August 22 & 23. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? This is the best campground that we've been to in our area. We loved it. It is now under new ownership and they are doing a wonderful job. They have enough everyone of all ages to keep busy. Its nice and clean and family friendly. Owners and Staff: The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Beautifully kept up.
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: We had a wonderful site which overlooked part of the campground and was very spacious. Some sites are small though. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, large and spacious, somewhat small, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, Overall very quiet at night. It isn't too far from the road so you can slightly hear cars going by but not a major noise problem. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers. All seasonal campers seemed very friendly.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Not all tenting sites are close to the restrooms but the trailers are close by. Owners are new so they may be adding a restroom closer to tenters.
Activities and Amenities: pool, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, bingo, tv or movies, playground, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, Many things to keep you busy. Have a wonderful large pool, mini golf, rec hall, and ice cream stand. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. Just about 5 minutes to restaurants and grocery store. Last comments: I recommend staying here our experience was excellent and we plan to come back very soon. A great place to camp for all ages.
