Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? Very clean, great location, wonderful ambience
Owners and Staff: The staff was over the top with help! They couldn't do enough to make you welcome.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: The site is located 3 miles from Manchester, Vt. A town just like Freeport, Maine. Lots of shopping and yuppie restaurants for those that like that! About four blocks from the camp is the oldest Quarrie in America. Pristine water about 10 ft. deep that is diveable and swimmable for many people with no charge. Bromley Mt. is minutes away with views that take your breath away. Lots of woodcarvers and antique shops. Campground is well-kept and exceptionally clean. No pool, but swimming is blocks away.
Overall Site Quality: very good
Good/Bad sites: We stayed in #18 which had no sewage disposal. We knew that to begin with but accepted it. A dump site is there but it is located in a circular space that would not allow for our 38 ft 5th wheel to get close to. Most sites have full hookups but not every one has cable. The rates are minimal by today's standards Campsite hookups: electric, water, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, somewhat small, picnic table, fire ring,
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
Activities and Amenities
pond, recreation hall, video games, pool table, tv or movies, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station,
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails.
Last comments: Very pleasant camping at rates that won't break your bank. Staff that is accommodating and experienced.

Did you happen to see what the tenting area was like? Wooded, or open? Close to the bath house or far? Thanks!
