Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? Totally hidden back in the woods...quiet/peaceful setting. Great fishing, clean, modern bathrooms with private showers.
Owners and Staff: Very nice elderly couple own the campground. Friendly and so helpful!
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Clean, wooded and quaint. A little taste of country living! We love it!
Overall Site Quality: excellent
Good sites: We camped right accross from the playground which was perfect for us because the kids could play while we kept an eye on them Bad sites:
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area.
Cell Phone Service: Verizon Wireless...no problems at all!
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, Hundreds of acres-everything is spaced out!
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Awesome facilities! Real toilets and real showers! Laundry facilities, too!
Activities and Amenities
pond, lake, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. nice little playground, stocked pond, great swimming, rec hall with ping pong, video games, juke box, foosball and more!
