Daniel Richard gave us this review on 07/11/04.

Approx Dates of Stay: July 9, 10 and 11. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? Tranquility and very clean. This is the most peacefull camping I’ve ever been to.  You rarely hear cars on the nearby road and it is nestled on a beautiful lake. Owners and Staff: The staff-owners are very helpful and very friendly.  They were very quick to help us settle in (backing-up our pop-up) and to answer requests (fixing the table). Camp landscaping and surroundings: The terrain is quite uneven and there are lots of rocks in the campground roads.  There are lots of trees.  The beach by the lake is kept clean.

Overall Site Quality: very good. Good/Bad site #‘s: 45 Campsite hookups: electric, water;    Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring;      Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly,    There were several seasonnal campers.  Most of the site were well maintained.  One in particular was in bad shape and did not appear clean.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.

Activities and Amenities: lake, fishing, boat rentals, playground, camp store, pets allowed,              Small playground.  The playground games were out of date. What is nearby? ocean or lake,    Campground is located 20 minutes from Lake George Village. We had planned a weekend in Lake George.  Although we found Daggett Lake to be a bit far from the main attractions of Lake George, we were quite happy to be staying there. Last comments: Owers have quite a few rules, one being the requirement to wear a helmet when bicyling and no children under 14 are permitted to go to bath house alone.  It would be in the best interest of the owners to post the campground rules on the website.
