Overall Campground Rating: not good.

What stood out? Very Shabby campground.

Owners and Staff: Very Rude, Very Crude, Not helpful at all

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Very Rocky

Overall Site Quality: fair-average

Good/Bad sites: Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, large and spacious, close to the road, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. Too many Rocks

Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Bathrooms were very dirty, Smelled horrible, Always had sewer smell.

Activities and Amenities

pool, pond, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, camp store, Camp store very dirty and had a bad odor, Very poorly stocked with items.

Last comments: We would never camp there again or recommend to anyone.

  1. Thank you for the review, I have often looked at their website and thought about going there, but then I look at their rates and I quickly change my mind.  The website makes it look like a very nice place to go, but I cannot bring myself to pay $58 a night ($32 for the site and $18 more for my 3 children, not to mention the $8 for AC).  My personal favorite (private cg) is Eagles Peak.  If you have never been there, you should give it a try…Happy camping…Jen
