Approx Dates of Stay: 8/15-8-17 8/22-8/24. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? It is far away from the highway and is surrounded by woods and nice people. It has many fun activities to do, and has the quality of a good camping experience. Owners and Staff: Its a family run business and the family is one of the nicest I have met. Very fun and kind. They make routes every so often throughout the day to check up on their guests to see if they are settled in. They invited us down to the game room to hang out with them. Nice people. Camp landscaping and surroundings: The campground is very clean and its just like a campground should be. Of course there are bugs and animals making loud noises, IT'S OUTDOORS.
Overall Site Quality: very good. Good/Bad site #'s: been in the same one twice but they all seem to be fine. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, somewhat small, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring. Sites are nice and clean, they are just big enough to have your tent your car and some movement space, which is all you need. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: friendly campers.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: The bath rooms aren't the cleanest or the nicest, but its not the Holiday Inn here, it's a campsite. If you want a nice shower and bathrooms, stay at a hotel. When your camping your suppose to rough it. And roughing it includes a little bit of dirtiness. GET OVER IT! Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, river, swimming, fishing, boating, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, playground, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, Good. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements. Last comments: My friends and I stayed there two weekends in a row and the owners became so friendly with us. The Cranberry run is a good place to stay and I enjoyed it.
