Cliff gave us this review on 5/20/01:

Coolidge State Park is a fantastic campground, especially if you like dry camping. This campground is located on top of a small mountain in the middle of nowhere, and it is well worth the drive. Camp sites are well wooded, and well spaced. There are two loops, the A loop has sites with lean-to's and great views. They do accept reservations, and if your planning to visit during peak foliage dates in October, you'll need to make reservations for sites with a view in January! There are 35 sites with open front lean-to's, plus an additional 25 tent/trailer sites. Five comfort stations all with flush toilets, two stations have shower facilities. They have several hiking trails through and around the park. None of the sites have hook-ups, but there is a dump station available.
