Overall Campground Rating: horrible.
What stood out? No privacy and the site they tried to rent to us was 47.00. Not so bad, EXCEPT it was right next to the highway, no firepit, no picnic table, there was a dumpster on the site itself and the site is right behind the office. I can't BELIEVE they would even offer this space. Driving through the rest of the campground, people are packed in like sardines! Not a remote or quiet experience at all, you may as well pitch a tent in your backyard.
Owners and Staff: They seemed very nice and did refund our money. Nice people, terrible location.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Packed in like rats. No privacy. A parking lot for tents and campers.
Overall Site Quality: terrible

Last comments: Please save your money. There are much better campgrounds in the same area.

It sounds like you were given an “overflow” campsite. I am assuming you didn’t stay, since they refunded your money. I think you would have had a much more pleasant time if you were on a different campsite.
Too bad your experience was negative, but it might be worth another shot someday. Thanks for the review!
