Overall Campground Rating: fair-average.

What stood out? Great staff, clean restrooms, well stocked store. Dog park, Pond, Small campsites, really crowded together. I do not know what other reviewers think is a large site but if you can hear your neighbor snooring you are too close.

Owners and Staff: Everyone I met was smiling. very helpful and friendly.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Campground right next to busy route 16. Narrow gravel roads. Mostly wooded. Nice sand beach.

Overall Site Quality: fair-average

Good sites: Nothing stood out. Bad sites: All site small crowded.

Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, wifi Campsite Descriptions: wooded, somewhat small, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, Too small not private.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: friendly campers,

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:

Activities and Amenities

pool, pond, swimming, fishing, video games, pool table, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Great place to bring your dogs. Fenced in dog park, trail to walk your dogs and allow them to swim. Very pet friendly.

What is nearby? restaurants, ocean or lake, nature trails. If you don't mined the small sites, and having your neibor on top of you. And you need or your children need to be entertained this is a great campground. I personally need more room and less of the aminities.

  1. Yes, maybe this was not the campground for you. I loved it and will go back in a heart beat. I have camped for years and they have everything we look for in a campground. The staff was so nice, great planned activities, nice store, great sites with great views, nice pool, nice lake, store was well stocked, etc. I also loved that my dogs were made to feel part of the whole camping experience and not just something to deal with (some places are very dog unfriendly). We love taking our dogs and they really cater to pet lovers like us.

  2. Wow! I’m surprised! We were also there July 21st-26th and we had a great time! This was our second year here and this is also one of our top 3 places! We were close to the main road(very loud)but we were able to adjust and get use to it. There were so many activities that our kids weren’t able to do,due to day trips and fishing. They did Tie dye shirts which a lot of parents were doing(not common). This is a great campground that hits all the points that you look for in a campground!!! Location,Cleanliness,Activities, etc We are going back next year!
