Lake Champlain Islands area in Vermont

Stayed at Carry Bay campground because I decided I wanted electric and water on site. The sites there are very small. By the time your camper is set up and your is awning out, you have about reached the edge of your site. They don't have too many sites though so we had no real problems. The owners are really nice people and live during the summer in their Class A motor home next to the camp office, which is a converted airstream trailer. The swimming pool is very good but small. Guess it doesn't really need to be any larger though because it was never crowded. Can't use the lake at that location because of weeds and mud. They also rent boats, motors and such and have a launch ramp if you have your own boat. The best part of the campground though is the showers. Hot, plenty of water and free. My wife wasn't impressed at first but by the end of the week was considering on returning with her own tent for her days off from work. (She's camp nurse for a girls camp in the area.)
