Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? Nice people, smiling faces, and lots to do. Needs new bathrooms.

Owners and Staff: Do not know about owners, but managers we're around and very helpful, encouraged us to join in what was going on. Staff was friendly, all seemed happy except one woman on the gate who seem indifferent.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Beautiful setting, clean and neat, lots of flowers. They have quite a few seasonal sites some of which are old but kept up nicely.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Good sites: We camped on Mohawk, had lots of room all of the sites there looked about the same, they have other areas that had more trees where the sites looked smaller. Bad sites: did not see any

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, fire ring,

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember.

Activities and Amenities

pond, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, security gate. nature trail for hiking was nice

What is nearby? restaurants, nature trails.

  1. I stayed at Camp Waubeeka a few years ago with my family and the only thing that has kept me from going back are the bathrooms.  They really do need to be updated. If I remember correctly the playground equipment looked out of date too.
