Approx Dates of Stay: 5 days over the 4th of July. Overall Campground Rating: horrible. What stood out? The gentleman that owns the campground was the rudest person I have ever met in the business world. It would be safe to say that if you were looking for a clean restroom you would be better off in jail. Owners and Staff: owners-horrible, staff-ok. Camp landscaping and surroundings: poor landscaping, beach very misleading.
Overall Site Quality: good. Good/Bad site #'s: I paid for a waterfront site but none really exist. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, somewhat small, close to the road, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring. Roads seemed very narrow and would be hard navigating a large camper. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered.
Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating?
yes. metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional
comments on restrooms and showers: The campground only has one restroom and can
be quite a walk for some sites.
Activities and Amenities: lake, swimming, docks or moorings, playground,
camp store, ice cream, laundry room. Not a well stocked camp store. Very small campground.
The beach is a hill, but the owners home located next door is immaculate. What
is nearby? restaurants, ocean or lake. Last comments: It was the biggest
dump I have ever paid 33.00 per night to pitch my tent. I will never go back unless
it was sold and had a severe face-lift.
