What stood out? I am so appalled by the conduct of a staff member of this campground that I will never be going there again. My three friends and I had called a few minutes before arriving at the campground to find that there were some tent sites available. However, when my friends and I approached the front desk in the office, the older woman there said, "I don't think this is the campground for you." She proceeded to tell us that she didn't know if we were going to be "partying" and making a lot of noise. "This is a family campground," she said, "and perhaps it would be better to stay somewhere else." Her attitude was completely uncalled for. My friends and I are normal American young adults. We were not making excessive noise walking up to the campground, we did not have any music playing in the car. Eventually she allowed us to have a map to go look for a site, but we were so EXTREMELY OFFENDED by her judgement of us that we went out to the car and selected another campground at which to stay. I have camped at this campground several other times without incident, I have no idea what could make this woman so prejudiced based on our age. My friends and I recently graduated from a local high school at the top of our class. I was the class president and student council president, one of my other friends was National Honor Society president, we were all class officers and are well respected in our community. If you are a young adult, DO NOT STAY HERE! You may be subject to discrimination.
Owners and Staff: VERY OFFENSIVE!
Camp landscaping and surroundings: It is "by the shore," however there are only a few sites at which you can actually see the ocean.
