Overall Campground Rating: very good.
What stood out? Nice big sites. Great waterfront sites.Lots for kids to do on theme weekends.
Owners and Staff: Very friendly. MAde you feel like they have known you a long time even if you just met
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Newly mown grass.Nice clean pool. This is an older campground but while some things could be updated, it is very clean and neat.
Overall Site Quality: very good
Good sites: Depends on what you are looking for. Bad sites: We didn't like the ones on the outside of the ball field. They were all out in the open.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, cable, wifi Dump Station available Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring,
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Some sites are a hike to the bathrooms.
Activities and Amenities
pool, pond, river, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, pool table, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, Nice pool. Playground and game room need to updated but to be fari, they are still recovering from spring flooding of 2005.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. You are 15 minutes from Matamoras, Pa and the Delaware river.
Last comments: We really enjoyed our stay.In season, with 2 night's paid camping, free dinner on Saturday night depending on theme of weekend. Very good and lots of fun!
