Approx Dates of Stay: June 26-July 2, 2004. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? The daily activities are the best part of this campground. We camped here during their Caribbean Week. We had a blast. There were activities all day. Owners and Staff: The staff are wonderful. We are becoming regulars, so the staff knows us be name. All the staff members have a smile on their face and are very helpful. The favorite staff member is Stevie, the activities director. He is just one big kid. He truly loves his job. He is great with the kids. He teaches them manners and good sportsmanship. He also has a positive comment for them at all times. Camp landscaping and surroundings: The campground is very well maintained. The office area has rocks walls and walkways. The grass is always mowed and the roads and sites are raked often.
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: The best sites are along the water. They are sites 37a-63. There are no bad sites. Some are larger than others, but each site is nice. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, close to the road, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: There are seven restrooms in all. You are never far from one. They are cleaned twice a day and are maintained regularly. Most of the rest rooms have showers, and two have laundry facilities.
Activities and Amenities: pond, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. This is a wonderful campground. It has almost everything you could ever want in a campground. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails.
