Brian M gave us this review on 09/28/05. Approx Dates of Stay: 09/23/2005 - 09/25/2005. What did you camp in? Pop-up Trailer

Overall Campground Rating: fair-average.

What stood out? Family oriented and clean. Many kids.

Owners and Staff: Cordial

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Large campground with dirt (sandy) roads. Campsites are sandy and fairly level. Lake is decent sized with a large beach and swimming area. TYpical privacy between sites.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Good/Bad sites: W28 and W29 - Great Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. A great place to head to if you can't get into Danforth Bay in the Ossipee Lake / Freedom area.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, Some very nice rigs.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Could use somewhat more knee room in restrooms with stalls. Need additional urinal in men's rooms.

  1. This is a popular campground so if Danforth Bay is sold out this campground would be most likely sold out as well.

From this review being “fair-average”, I’m exactly sure what this camper didn’t like about the campground.
