What stood out? I've read some of the reviews on this website. I have to say that the negative comments are definitely not what I encountered. The owners have made numerous upgrades to the campground during the last few years and have been improving the quality of the sites, roads, restrooms, store, playground, etc. This is an old campground that required much attention and many upgrades were needed.
The staff take pride in...

What stood out? After reading the previous reviews on your site I was nervous about my trip to Eastern Slope. However, my families experience was quite different than those posted previously. Approx Dates of Stay: 9/2/04 to 9/6/04. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? BAD - Zero privacy, as the sites are literally lined up like a horse stable. Sites adjacent to and behind you are just several feet away. Nothing like the campgrounds I went to in NH growing up as a kid. Last complaint is the cabin mattresses. Don't even think about having a fire after 11:00 pm. Owners and Staff: My father single-handedly put out a fire in one of the open sites, the owner didn't even look at him, let alone thank him. Lincoln (5089 ft). The site was level but...
