What stood out? The place is HUGE! There are three pools and several hot tubs. Activities galore for the kids. They have free trolley service to the beach as well as an in-park trolley. The stores are very well stocked and there are a few snackbars on site.

What stood out? We were in the OOB area and stopped by for a drive through as we had not camped here in about 6 years. We loved Bayley's but found it extremely crowded, more so than in the past. That's Camping Review: (6/01) New owners at Dixon's in 2001. A very nice campground, but the only real downfall we found is that there is no pool. The owners told us they plan on adding a pool and hopefully more electric sites. Possibly also adding sewer to sites as well.

What stood out? Large, private campsites. Clean campgrounds & facilities. Very friendly staff & campers.

Owners and Staff: Very friendly & helpful. I needed directions a few times & they were more than happy to help. They even put the Sox game on in the office for me! (they earned major points for that one)

What stood out? Campsites on the water were very spacious. We had sites E14 and E15 and had a LOT of unused space because the sites we so large. We had a 6 person tent, a screen tent AND badminton court set up. Bad: You can hear the highway, which is REALLY annoying. Also, other campers walk freely onto the site because its close to the river. Night fishing gets bothersome when you are trying to sleep!

Owners and Staff: You'll see both pop-ups and tents at Pinederosa. All sites are very spacious. Some are wooded, some sites on the grass. The pool is large and clean. They are fairly strict about keeping things quiet after 11 pm, which is really good for families. Owners and staff are friendly and accommodating.
