What stood out? SUPER CLEAN AND PLENTY OF AMENITIES!

What stood out? Loved how clean the camping areas are. No debris anywhere where you set up camp. Sites are big enough for our travel trailer and a tent for extra guests. We enjoyed the CORN ROAST this year. 1300 ears of corn they cook and it's free to eat as long as you help take the husk off. To me thats fair trade! What stood out? Very Shady. All sites had ample shade.

Owners and Staff: Very nice. Answered all questions pleasantly.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Rocky, wooded, private fishing (no license needed), Olympic size pool and kiddy pool, lot of boulders for kids to climb on.

What stood out? Wooded sites offering a fair amount of privacy with terrific scenery.

Owners and Staff: State park, staff quite friendly and helpful.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Located in the canyon of Loyalsock Creek, the large creek runs through the park. The area is rural and heavily wooded.

What stood out? We booked to go to a wedding nearby & were wary after reading other reviews. There isn't 1 site we wouldn't have wanted. All were wooded & gave privacy. Washroom-shoerrm was brand new and spotless. Yes it was by the highway but not more noisy than most campgrounds. Some ruts in the hilly terrain but the gate key let us come & go w/o need of staff. The visitation rates were high ($7.00/person/day if staying over 1/2 hour) and they had to park at the entrance of the grounds. Very inconvenient.
