Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? Overall, a nice place for a quick weekend away. Both times we were here, campground was not overcrowded.

Owners and Staff: Staff very nice. Always a wave as they went by

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Campground was involved in the big spring floods of April 05. They are doing a nice job of bringing back to normal.

Overall Site Quality: very good

What stood out? Nice big sites. Great waterfront sites.Lots for kids to do on theme weekends.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Newly mown grass.Nice clean pool. This is an older campground but while some things could be updated, it is very clean and neat.

Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? Very friendly staff. Large campsites.

Owners and Staff: Very friendly. Always a smile and a little conversation.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Wooded and open fields. Clean.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Good sites: We like the riverfront sites and wooded sites best. Bad sites: The ones by the pond are private but too far from bathrooms.

What stood out? Big campground. To me a least. Some nice rustic spots

Overall Campground Rating: fair-average.

What stood out? Lots of activities. Playground equipment is definitely not safe...I am quite sure those spinny merry go round things have been outlawed, and my son cut himself inside the hand-constructed tunnels. Decent rec hall for a campground of this size.

Owners and Staff: A little too heavily "policed" by owners. (They drive by and linger during your late nite campfire...many times. ) I'm sure they mean well,...

What stood out? Peaceful quiet location and very nice attentive staff!

Owners and Staff: The owners are very friendly as are the staff members. All were very helpful and accommodating. It's their early season so the Rec Hall was only open on the weekends but the camp manager made a point of coming out to our site and letting us know to go to the office any time the kids...

What stood out? Nice people, smiling faces, and lots to do. Needs new bathrooms.

Owners and Staff: Do not know about owners, but managers we're around and very helpful, encouraged us to join in what was going on. Staff was friendly, all seemed happy except one woman on the gate who seem indifferent.

What stood out? Good: Access to ocean beaches, grassy sites, beautiful ocean breezes at night (even in August!), starry nights, very friendly park staff. Bad: Layout of campground (see below), mosquitoes, ONE comfort station for whole campground, noisy neighbors.

What stood out? Good: beautiful lake & beaches, very modern bathhouse & showers, platform sites. Bad: Some sites not well thought-out parking-wise.

What stood out? In the center of the park are two small lakes offering fishing, boat rentals, and swimming. There are easy hiking trails. There are also children's playgrounds and a quaint miniature golf course. The camping area is small with 27 sites accomadating both tents and rvs. Some sites are a short walk from where you park.
