What stood out? The restrooms were clean, the grounds were taken care of nicely.
Owners and Staff: A couple of the staff were nice, but some were not nice to the children, the rules changed daily. Found out after we got there, not all activities were included in the price, which we were told that they were, not once but twice, we asked about this and were assured both times everything was included.

This campground is located on Conway Lake. The sites are big & wooded. Plenty of shade. We've been going there for a few years now (a week or so at a time) and have never had a bad trip. This place is great for kids too. Located right on the water, they have their own shallow, sandy beach & swim...

What stood out? The campground is rather small, and unless you're at sites far from the road, you can hear traffic. Many sites were fairly private, but they didn't seem especially nice. Sites adjacent to and behind you are just several feet away. Nothing like the campgrounds I went to in NH growing up as a kid. Last complaint is the cabin mattresses. Overall Campground Rating: horrible.
What stood out? We rented a travel trailer at this campground, and it was horrible. It was old, and inside the trailer, there were spider webs hanging above the beds. I had 2 small children, and I refused to let my children sleep in this trailer. After 5 minutes of being there, we packed up the kids, and returned the keys to the office, and went to a hotel for the...

They were gracious to let us take a quick drive around to check out the campground on a busy Saturday. This is a nice state campground. Some sites are better than others.
