Two things that really stood out were, this was the loudest campground I have been to thus far, to be fair, this is my families second year camping and we average about 5 trips per year. What stood out? Sites were SMALL. The bathrooms as my wife said, could gag a maggot. Most of the campground was seasonal. In fact some of the sites were so small that you could not open an awning. What stood out? We were placed in a sesonal area and after we set up and put the kids to bed, we sat by the campfire. We were a party of four adults, over 40. We sat and chatted and laughed as a party at a seasonal site two sites away, roared! At midnight we were asked to extinguish our fire so we all went to bed. Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? First off the staff was very helpful and very accomodating. Facilities are somewhat rustic but very well kept. Tent sites are spacious and well layed out, although if you need to hang tarps bring lots of rope as the trees are somewhat far apart.

What stood out? This is such a nice place to camp. We go here all the time as it is only 45 minutes from our home so perfect for a quick get away with out driving for 5 hours. What stood out? Beautiful tall trees everywhere! On the down side-there must be an airport nearby,the small airplanes and helicopters are so loud,and they are flying very early in the morning, my kids somehow slept through it but we did not.
