What stood out? The overall friendly atmosphere of ALL of the campground staff.
Owners and Staff: Friendly courteous very helpful, they can and will do anything to make stay fun.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: wide open to shaded what ever youy want or need you can find it.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area.
Cell Phone Service: Have sprint/nextel as well as wireless, worked OK, not great but as OK as spring/nextel works away from metro areas
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, would have signed up for one that day if it was available
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:
pool, pond, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, live entertainment, bingo, playground, theme weekends, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Close to Mt. Madanock
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails.
