What stood out? Not too big yet not too small. Have been to campgrounds that you needed a cart to get around. This was not the case here. Very clean and welcoming
Owners and Staff: Friendly owners and managers. They enforce the rules but within reason. (which you need when camping with children. Seasonal folks made us feel very welcome there.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Wooded, nice lake for fishing & boating. Sites were not crowded on top of eachother.
Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable; Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
pool, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, live entertainment, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails.
Last comments: We have been to several campgrounds in the past three years looking for a seasonal site. We finally found one we like. We will be staying at Woodmore until they get sick of us.
