Approx Dates of Stay: Aug 13-15. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? Dated, Needs alot of work Owners and Staff: Woman in office not happy to be there, but not rude. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Verry wooded but no privacy.
Overall Site Quality: not good. Good/Bad site #'s: The "J" Area very cramped. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, somewhat small, close to the road, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. Grass was not well kept, water lines are above ground and very low water pressure. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered, friendly campers, Didn't meet any
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Toilet paper roll to small for holder so it didn't spin. No soap dispenser, some areas had porta johns.
Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, fishing, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, playground, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, Verry small camp store, Clean pool What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, Not far from the Ocean beaches, Washington County Fair, Enchanted Forest, Wickford Village. Last comments: This campground is ok for a weekend but it does need alot of work, The roads are in need of grading and the sites are in need of cleaning. In the "j" section there isn't any clear divider between sites. This Could be a nice place if they would spend some money on it.
