Approx Dates of Stay: 7 days. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? They are very clean there. After checkout each site is raked and groomed. Owners and Staff: All were very good. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Open and woody combined. Part is on a hill.
Overall Site Quality: very good. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, cable. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, somewhat small, picnic table, fire ring. The sites we were in were wooded and quite nice. About 1/3 of the site are open and the sun gets hot.
Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible
from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: There
are only two for the whole campground. Quite a hike to get to from sites. Then again
the campground is mostly RVs and they are self contained.
Activities and Amenities: pool, swimming, playground, camp store, ice cream, AM
coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station. Kids do not have much to here. So
the parents must plan ahead for activities. The playground at the bottom of the hill
is exposed and the week we were up there the heat and sun were brutal. The grandmonsters
lived in the pool. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores,
ocean or lake, amusements. Last comments: One draw back to the whole stay. I
had four grandmonsters and one granddog. They charged 5 for the dog a night and 6 or
7 a night extra which added up to 35 a night extra on top of the 38 a night already.
I might go back again. It was nice but I really don't feel it was worth it if you have
kids.
