Approx Dates of Stay: September 2003, many times in 2002. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? small campground but large sites. Owners and Staff: very pleasant. Camp landscaping and surroundings: mostly level sites, many trails to hike on.
Overall Site Quality: very good. Good/Bad site #'s: only 40 sites but can accomodate tents, pop ups, campers etc Campsite hookups: electric, water. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, large and spacious, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: not aware of any seasonal campers....it is run by the county and I believe permits are limited to 14 days
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Activities and Amenities: camp store, dumping station, security gate. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. Last comments: This is a pleasant campground to visit for the weekend. Security is very good as the grounds manager makes numerous drive thrus.
