Approx Dates of Stay: August 1 to 4, 2003 & Others. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? Very attractive campground, well laid out, new bath/shower house. Owners and Staff: Very friendly. We stayed there for 3 or 4 years while the Inside Out Soul Festival was held at Loon Mtn, and even with a zillion teenagers running around, they were very pleasant! Camp landscaping and surroundings: Quiet, (probably more so at times OTHER than the Inside Out Soul Festival), bubbling mountain streams, very laid back and pleasant atmosphere!
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: All are good, sites along the brook are the best! Campsite hookups: primitive tent, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, large and spacious, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:
Activities and Amenities: pond, river, fishing, camp store, What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. Great Hiking, Biking nearby. Last comments: If you need to be entertained while camping, this probably isn't for you, however if you really want to enjoy the sites and sounds of nature, be close to miles of hiking, then this is what you need!
