Approx Dates of Stay: 7/2003. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? The cleanliness of everything! There is a Boston & Maine caboose that has been restored and sleeps 6, it has a nice site in the pines. Owners and Staff: We have been camping for over 10 years and have stayed in a lot of places that we wish we had known about before we got there!!!! This campground is absolutely beautiful, Barbara (one of the owners,) loves flowers and they are all over the campground. The owners (Barbara & Steve) are very friendly, the staff is also very friendly and helpful, but enforce the rules so that no one is bothered by some who don't follow the rules. Which is a good thing, as we all know! It is a family campground, that keeps being improved each year. There are movies on the weekends on the deck, ice cream socials, pancake breakfasts, bonfires. Quiet hours are enforced (10p to 8a) Camp landscaping and surroundings: The landscaping is beautiful, flowers are all around, grass is always mowed. This campground is very well kept.

Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: All the sites are very nice, some are close together, but we have never been bothered, as the owners do not put up with partiers. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, close to the road, sandy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area. Some sites are on the smaller size, but not ridiculously small, we have a 25 ft Coachman, and have never had a problem. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: no seasonals.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: The cleanest I have ever seen. With fresh wildflowers in the bathroom! Activities and Amenities: pool, video games, pool table, tv or movies, playground, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, Everything is immaculate, the store is very well stocked. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. Storyland approx. 30 min away/santa's land and six gun city approx 20 min, clarks trading post 30 min away. Last comments: Try this campground you won't be disappointed.
