What stood out? Had a large covered area for group cookouts with many tables, BBQ Pit, Refer and Cookstove. Warning, this is a campground that wants families to be families. There is very little Arcade and activities as found in many campgrounds.
Owners and Staff: Very friendly and helpful, we all felt totally at ease.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Large open sites. Very nice store where they have all sorts of items for sale and all proceeds go to the Shriners. Yankee Candle is a must see in the area. Just of the Mohawk Trail with a small river, boat ramp and fishing on back sites. Due to weeks of rain, Mud, the rain caused a few of the lower sites to be mud fields, the campground closed them off.
Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, No sewer lower sites Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, semi-private, close to the road, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area. Being right next to the I91 there is some road noise that can be heard now and then.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly
Comments on restrooms and showers: We didn't use the restrooms here so I cannot say.
river, theme weekends, camp store, dumping station; The dirt boat ramp is just for canoes and kayaks.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. Yankee Candle and the Mohawk Trail. Walking trails, white water rafting are also nearby.
