Our friend, Donna gave us the information for this review (9/99):
Good, average campground. Large sites, and very clean accessible restrooms. The beach located on Swift River is small, but the river is accessible if you are staying on one of the many waterfront sites. Camp store, laundry, small playground, rec. barn, security gate key, and many planned daytime and nighttime activities. Restaurants, grocery stores nearby. Conway, White Mountains, Story Land, and Lake Ossipee are also within 1 hour.

Though I agree with some of the things the women above has to say, I will say there Xmas in July last year was a blast, my children had a wonderful time but when asked, it was the result of a few campers that came up with this idea and actually did most of the work. Santa and his elf did a wonderful job, the pot luck dinner was very good though we did not participate in the yankee swap, it was a all day thing. THe campers really decorated their sites. We would have if we had been notice this was going on that season, It was not posted on their site or mentioned during. making reservations. I see they are doing it again this year, just hope the same people that were there last year put it on again this time. My children even received a letter at home from Santa well beyond expected because they were all individually written (have two kids).Reason for returning this year is for Xmas in July alone hope we aren’t disappointed.
