What stood out? This campground has absolutely no trees between the site beside you. The river swimming at the beach is disappointing. Young children must be watched carefully for the drop off into deep water at different places, which leaves very little area for swimming past their knees! Also, my kids and I had to block our nose when passing dumpster. It was located across from the bathrooms. Bad smell.
Owners and Staff: Extremely Nice!!! Very helpful and informative and honest. Always had a SMILE.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Heavy forest across the river but the actual camp sites were not private from each other. River is swift water with rockbed of moss-covered, slippery rocks. Safe for looking at only.
Good sites: Riverfronts are nice. But again, no privacy sites.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, wifi Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, large and spacious, somewhat small, sandy bottom, fire ring, highway noise
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Toilets were in beat-up condition.
