Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? The first Strawberry Park Folk Festival
Owners and Staff: Staff was very good, lots of people to help with anything, all nice.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Significantly improved since our stay on Memorial Day of 2005. Beautiful seasonals. Lots of grassy sights.
Overall Site Quality: very good
Good sites: Secret! Bad sites: Some in the woods still look really crowded-high 200's.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Some new sewer sites Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, Some of them are amazing. These people have pride in their park. Impressive.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Clean. Nice hot shower.
Activities and Amenities
pool, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. They did a fantastic job with the Folk Festival. Live music from big names and locals. Two stages. Just great.
What is nearby? You won't need any nearby attractions. The pools, activities and amenities are all you need.
Last comments: Forgot to mention the excellent snack bar! This park has gotten bad reviews before. I couldn't disagree more. Nice place. Go and have a great time. Bring your bathing suit. The pools are top notch.
