Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? The staff! They are wonderful. They were friendly and professional. They were so kind to our children and took the time to make them laugh and have fun. The activities they provide for families is well thought out and we all had fun. The pool is so clean and very big. The fishing in the lake is great! The sites are older but there are new ones being updated. The staff said the whol;e park is under a renovation program. You can see there is pride in this park. We felt safe and the campers were great. Many folks said they are regulars.
Owners and Staff: The park is neat and well maintained. The restrooms are clean but a little old. You can see that they are remodeling some of them.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: I have not been to a park that is this well maintained. The grounds are well mowed and I saw no garbage about. The playground was neat and safe. The lake is beautiful!
Overall Site Quality: very good
Good sites: down by the lake Bad sites: didn't really see any. I was happy on my site so I didn't bother to look
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, wifi some are old but many are new Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, somewhat small, close to the road, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. There seems to be a site for everyone
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, So neat and clean. They weren't tacky like I've seem in many parks. They seemed to be very friendly and happy. The folks next to us said they have been there for years and have never found a park so organized.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: They are older but very clean. Some restrooms are new and others are older. I think they are reworking them
Activities and Amenities
pool, pond, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, pool table, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Pool is amazing! New!!! The store seemed to provide all the basics and stuff for the kids. Nice size playground.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos. Newport Beaches, Providence, Old Sturbridge Village in Mass. Roger Williams Zoo
Last comments: If you are a family with children, this is the place to be! These folks are so nice and the park is so safe and beautiful. You can clearly see that the owner must have chilren of their own. There were many folks who had no chilren and you could see that they were just as happy. This park was not loud and it was very peaceful

My wife, daughter and myself stayed at the stateline campresort on oct. 12,13 and left on the 14 electing not to stay the last night although it was paid for in advance. The cabin we paid 275.00 for 3 nights was filthy.I had to go to a local stop and shop to get a mold and mildew cleaner for the bathroom and kitchen floor. There was human feces behind the toilet. We were happy that we brought extra sheets to cover the stained futon and filthy carpet floors. After complaining they brought down a vaccuum late that day that i was able to use. There was a window air conditioner that we tried to run but the condensate leaked onto the dirty carpet. The windows were so dirty that i cleaned all of them.I wish that we had tent camped instead. These complaints come from someone who has tent camped in many different places. The day i left the camp attendant didnt want to hear any complaints.I was happy that the two nights around the fire were clear with bright stars.
Posted by james marcucci on 10/24/07My family and I just stayed in a cabin for Memorial Day Weekend (2008). We LOVED it! The carpets were brand new, the furniture was new and the cabin itself sparkled! There were new appliances as well as new pots n pans etc… The activities were amazing! They offered a full schedule of things to do every hour on the hour. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was so friendly. I can’t imagine how anyone would give this resort a negative review. It appears that these other folks are not suited for camping. We re-booked on the way out!
Posted by Brenda Little on 06/18/08i just reviewed this park. we also stayed on memorial day weekend of 2008. we also loved this park. it appeared to us that everyone was having a great time. we did not stay in a cabin, we have our own trailer. we stayed on a new campsite. it is obvious that the owners have invested a lot into this campground, both in sites and rentals. the office staff told my family that they will be renovating until it is finished.
